The final building Tom and his shop worked on under Jokan Ohama's guidance is this tennis house. Built in an astonishing four months, this structure follows a more traditional Japanese temple style than the other buildings designed by Mr. Ohama. Made of yellow cedar, it has cantilevered, overhanging rafters and an elegant, balanced system of beams to distribute the building's weight, creating a lofty, refreshing place from which to view the court.
